
Who Was Clela Rorex?
Clela Ann Rorex was an American county clerk who issued the first same-sex marriage license in the United States. Serving as the Boulder County Clerk, Rorex issued a marriage license to a gay couple in 1975 after receiving approval from the District Attorney. She issued five more same-sex marriage licenses in Boulder before the Colorado Attorney General ordered her to stop. She received hate mail and angry phone calls.

Now based in Colorado, Erin is raising three wild-hearted sons while continuing to create films that speak to the messy, beautiful layers of being alive.

Kaidan Larson is a versatile violinist, composer, and arranger with extensive experience in classical, contemporary, film, and folk music. He has performed in regional and national honor ensembles, worked with renowned musicians such as Midori Goto and Augustin Hadelich, and played in a recording session with film composer Alan Silvestri.
